Syncing SharePoint Files to File Explorer
Overview
This document guides you on how to sync SharePoint Folder to appear locally on your File Explorer. Much like the old Map Drives.
Note that this document is only for College Provided Laptops and Windows Operating System that has OneDrive setup and configured.
Steps
1. Open up your SharePoint page. On the left, navigate to the Documents Library.

2. Open the folder that you would like to appear on your File Explorer.
3. Press the Sync button.

4. This will initiate the sync and the folder will appear in your File Explorer under Columbia College as shown below

Stop Syncing a Folder
1. If you want to stop syncing a folder. Click on the little blue cloud (OneDrive) at the bottom right of your desktop task bar

2. Onedrive will open up. Click on the settings wheel
. Then go to Settings.
3. Click on Account, and stop sync on the folder you prefer. Do not stop sync on the OneDrive – Columbia College.
