How to connect to Dynamics GP
Overview
As of 2025, Columbia College has moved Dynamics GP from on premise to Azure cloud as a Hybrid setup to take advantage of the benefits that Azure has to offer. We have moved the Remote App solution to Azure Virtual Desktop along with the migration. Please see the steps below to connect to Dynamics GP on Azure.
Please note that you must be a member of the Dynamics Virtual Group and use a College Provided laptop to connect to this service.
Steps
- Open up a browser (Chrome or Edge).
- Go to https://ccvirtual.columbiacollege.ca
- Login with your Columbia College credentials and Multifactor Authentication.
- You will be prompted with the below. Note that it may take up to 10 seconds to populate.

- There are 2 groups. One is Remote App and one is Workspace. Note that Workspace is for BYOD devices and does not have access to Dynamics GP.
- Click on any of the Dynamics RemoteApp icon and will prompt you to login again. As Dynamics is not compatible with the new Microsoft technology, the login will be slightly different. Please enter your username as COLUMBIACOLLEGE\email address and password. Then click Submit. See below.


- You will then be prompted to allow clipboard, printers etc. Only printers are redirected, and all others are not allowed by policy. You can click Allow to bypass the message.
- When you have finished using Dynamics GP for the day, please click on Sign Out to end all sessions.
